FORM FOR NGOs WANTING BOOK

This project started in Spring, 2006, when a handful of African women who work to stop female genital cutting received copies of Honoring Our Cycles: A Natural Family Planning Workbook by Katie Singer. They asked Katie to write a reproductive health manual for African couples. This book will be called Honoring Our Cycles in Africa.

Suzannn Gage is the project's illustrator. Katie Singer is the project's writer.

The book describes what happens during a healthy menstrual cycle, how the traditional practice of Female Genital Cutting affects a woman's reproductive health, and what happens in the male reproductive system.

Here are three drawings from the book.
